The Lan Lab joins Molecular Genetics and Microbiology at Duke

The Department of Molecular Genetics and Microbiology at Duke named Dr. Li Lan among seven new members of its faculty. She joined as a tenured associate professor, and the lab opened in the CARL Building in August 2023.

The lab came from Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School, where it worked from 2018. Before that it stood at the University of Pittsburgh.

The move puts the lab beside the Duke Cancer Institute and the Department of Pharmacology and Cancer Biology. Dr. Lan holds an appointment in both.
